Here I am on the trail - the early morning sun streaming down on me. At this point I have run five miles. This is the halfway mark for me. On this day the wind was whipping around my head. I am such a wimp when it comes to cold weather and I do not like my ears being cold - hence the beanie! This trail is my Happy Place, and is where you will find me most of the time.
Looking back over the last two years, I have come a long way. I really have realized that I should never take life for granted. I try to keep an attitude of gratitude! When I wake up in the morning, I like to say “Good Morning, Lord!” and not “Good Lord! Morning?"
I probably should not have taken the photo with the sun at this angle, but when it comes to taking pictures of myself I am a complete novice!
