so gorgeous - love hearing about your process and kudos for doing these challenges hybrid! wow! i love the phone PP so much! congrats on the FF! love love LOVE!
@jenn mccabe only just realised you asked me about my process right?
I printed the background paper twice: one in 6x8 format without any text (later I cut it down slightly smaller), one with text. I used my laser printer for that as the foil reacts with the toner under heat.
To cut the shapes put of the background that I was going to use as the real background, I used my Xacto knife. just normal scissors for the others.
For the watercolour background I just literally brushed the paint directly on the paper: outside boarde + roughly where the cut outs would be
For the watercolour on the cut out shapes I used the smooshing technique (basically applying the watercolour using a piece of plastic sheet)
I guess that's pretty much it. Well cutting the other shapes and adhering it all together of course.
Let me know if there is anything else you'd like to know.
I think you actually posted what you did in the thread - so it was cool to hear about how you made the page - the rose gold etc. That was what I was talking about! But this extra process info is fabulous!!! I wont complain hearing more! You rocked the MOC with your hybrid skills! Love your work!
