oh i never thought about how inheriting someone else's garden would kind of be a waiting game to see what colours and types different blooms would be! i think we've always really just had natives and as far as they go, bottlebrushes are all about the same pinky-red and agapanthus are either purpley or white and we've always just had a hodge podge of colours even buying them from a nursery sometimes they weren't the colour we expected but i can imagine it must be quite exciting - hope you aren't disappointed at all but if they are all as pretty as this one, then you should be good!
@bellbird It is exciting, first all the daffodils that came into bloom, then all different azaleas, rhododendrons and fuchsias.... it has just been never ending! I have never had so many cut flowers in the house before! lol! and now the roses, there really are some beauties besides the one in the page above.
