- JOURNALING: The Columbus airport is named in honor of astronaut and four-term U.S. senator John Glenn. “Brushstrokes in Flight”, painted and fabricated aluminum, by Roy Lichtenstein is displayed at the airport. He was an instructor at The Ohio State University. The giraffe on the huge wall poster advertising the Columbus Zoo reminded me we were awaiting the birth of April the Giraffe’s calf.
