Description:
We brought Cassie home at age 5 mos.
We began adoption proceedings.
We brought her back to thriving health and
she became a part of the family.
C.J. was thrilled to be a big brother!
Cassie was wide-eyed about nearly everything.
Those big black eyes made her so adorable!
Her first stocking, first Christmas tree,
her first Christmas cookie were all in this year.
Honduras doesn’t experience snow,
so the normal outdoor activities were
not part of the experience
C.J. wanted to help with everything
- so excited about
Being Cassie’s Holiday mentor.
He played the part of
The gift bearer with great joy!
Cassie brought much
Joy to our family in the
15 months that we had her.

      @mcurtt No. Hurricane Mitch made retrieving documents impossible. Then the nation's law changed allowing birth mother's to reclaim adopted children up to her age of 24. Cassie's mom was 16 at the time and she acted on the new law. But we experienced many of her "firsts".
