journaling: The deer head must be at least 125 years old or more now. Dad had gotten it from Grandma B’s neighbor Mr. Martin, Dad had to get the nose repaired a few times but it had hung in our home since I was about 7. Every year at Christmas the deer donned a Santa Hat and big red velvet bow. Now he belongs to Gene and just dons a Santa hat!
