These are pictures I took of Asher in 2015. I was helping him make Christmas gifts to take to pre-school. He didn't tell us until the night before that he needed them. Everybody was in a panic and I said I'd think of something. He loved making them himself. The bottom middle picture is him looking all happy with his treats. We put them all in little gift bags and put the bags in a box for transporting them to school the next day.
I've had MANY A "it's due by tomorrow!!!" (at 8:30.. you know, BED TIME) uuuUUuUugh. But you're awesome!! You handled it and it looks like a lot of fun and his smile oh my GOSH I was melted by CUTE!!!! Love your strung lights!
@Serena Thanks Serena. These pictures make me smile, too. He loved making these little surprises. I had everything ready before he got here and he had a blast gluing and putting on stickers. Yes, my kids used to do that to me, too. My youngest DD and I still laugh about the morning she told me she had something due - that day!
I pulled that one off, too. We moms just "do that", don't we?
oh yep! the ol' "night before" surprises! sheesh! is anything more panic inducing, pinterest always rescues me there, i don't know what parents and grandparents did back in the days before it! we haven't got to "morning of" yet thankfully - love your photo arrangement and little candy pins and light strings bordering them! thanks for playing along!
@bellbird Thanks, Justine. We didn't have Pinterest or anything like that when my kids were younger. Good thing I've always been pretty creative. LOL The "morning of" that I was referring to was the morning that my DD informed me that she had to take "empty cans" to school for something (I don't remember not). Good ole' mom - I took the labels off some cans and emptied them into containers. To hopefully be eaten later. We still laugh about that morning. First I said "well, you just can't do it". Then I got busy and did it. LOL
@Cherylndesigns well there's always empty cans here in the recycling box so that one I could accommodate but good thing you're creative, don't know what I'd do without Pinterest!
