This absolutely beautiful, Justine! That photo of your parakeet/cockateel is so pretty with the greenery of the Christmas tree! Love that it takes central spot on your canvas and your blending of the paper and paint transfer of the Christmas tree on the background, perfection!

Congrats, your page is also a Froggy Fav for December!

Oh this is just the sweetest photo Justine! You picked the perfect paper and colours to place behind the photo so it stands out beautifully! Excellent embellishments as well, such a beautifully crafted layout!

The colors in this page are amazing! I love how the green from the photo is repeated in the layout colors. Your photo really is the centerpiece and you’re letting it shine.

Congrats on the Froggy Favorite. I love how you have the birds looking at each other. Beautiful bird. Beautiful page.

What an awesome photo! Love the way you've used paint over the a partial patterned paper/partial solid background. And that greenery peeking out at the corner...love it!

I am not sure who christened Chicken, but I just love his name! :giggle That photo is too cute, and the design of your page showcases it so well. Congrats on the Froggy Favorite!

it's Aria's nickname that we use more than her/his actual name - she doesn't even respond to Aria, it's that bad. (Our previous bird Nibbler was also nicknamed Chicken and i fell into that phrasing again so everyone else followed suit). And we were told she was a girl when we 'rescued' them in a covid lockdown, but without the orange cheek patches to give an indication, without DNA testing, it's not obvious like with George and Steve. She seems to be a he from behaviour and lack of egg laying to this point but we still refer to her as 'she' and feel bad when we say 'we're having roast chicken for dinner' in passing, like hopefully she doesn't understand that much english and is not constantly scared and horrified!

What a gorgeous photo!! I love that she likes the Christmas lights! I love the story about her nickname too. Lol on roast chicken for dinner. I'm sure she knows it's TOTALLY different. :agree
