I am sure I am not the only one with dire Christmas photos they struggle to scrap. For this year, mine were really bad - everyone was in clashing clothes, I had just got a decent digital camera but wasn't any good at taking decent indoor shots - and some people just weren't in the Christmas spirit.*
They needed to be scrapbooked, and I just wasn't feeling it.But then I decided to convert most of the pics to black and white and then use blend modes (overlay mode in particular) to layer the paint transfers from the Frostell kit over them. And I ended up loving the page (and having fun scrapping them!)
* I mean, seriously take a look at my nephew's face in that bottom left pic ...
This is so beautifully done!! I love how you "fixed" the photos! I have old photos just like this that I really need to scrap! Thanks so much for the inspiration to work on them!! And your nephew's face is awesome ahahaha!!
