Cherish

Over Christmas, Miles and I spent a few days at the beach. He took me to Ft. Desoto State Park, a beautiful beach near St. Petersburg. He told me that he used to bring his kids there when they were little. He particularly remembered the endless stretch of beach along which you could walk the entire park. When we arrived, we found a section of the beach roped off and we were unable to walk through. Upon closer inspection, we discovered that part of the beach was being protected in order to restore the area for plants and birds. How wonderful! What a wonderful way to insure this beautiful place will be here for generations to come. I was so very pleased he had shared this special place with me. December 25, 2018
