A friend of mine started "Art Fun 101" monthly classes at our church about three years ago and she does the best job of coming up with new fun things for us to make each month. Last month she wanted to make citrus stamped tea towels, but when she tried using actual citrus to do the stamping according to a tutorial she was following, she said it was super messy and didn't turn out well. I volunteered to make some stamps for our group to use and they worked so much better thankfully!
Yes, it probably is the exact same! That would be fun if you already have the tool! I've seen some people on Instagram that use pink erasers to carve stamps from too.
Oh that would be awesome! Let me know how it works! I have the original Silhouette portrait from like 2010, so I don't know if mine would cut the foam or not. I might have to do some digging to find out!
I love your carved and stamped citrus patterns. I used to carve stamps many years ago, I don’t remember where my tools are, but this makes me inspired to go look for them! Love your pocket page with the fresh colors and fun embellishments.
