Journaling reads: Back to University of Iowa for your Sophomore year of college. Going hard after those business classes, taking 17 credit hours including Business Stats and Macroeconomics. Living in your first apartment with a roommate, cooking for yourself. Getting more deeply involved in clubs and extra activities. Great circle of friend and active social life. Those are the facts - the real story is in how much you've grown as a person over the last year. You're taking a newfound level of self confidence back to school with you. I love seeing that in you. You're far more independent than I've ever seen you. You're focused and working hard. It's like I can see the adult you coalescing before my eyes - and it's amazing to behold. (Aug 2017)

Ah, Laura! The journaling brings me back to my college days, first apartment, and macroeconomics! :giggle She is beautiful, as is your page! The white BG, pops of color, plus how you used the stitching around some of the journaling/word bits is a great subtle eye catcher.

oh my! First loving that you are scrapping but WOW here! I love the blending work here, but oh the journaling. wow Laura. fantastic. your daughter is a beauty.. I love the stitched down photo and then with the corner stitching the paint and then the split journaling.. next to the photo (the facts) and the below the Proud Mom words. Exquisite!!! Awesome page and the paint splatters really bring color and life to the page to symbolize her growth. Gorgeous page!
