The photo is of part of the river that runs parallel to the beach in Trancoso (Bahia/north east Brazil where we used to live). It is actually a screen shot of Google's street view. Can't remember why it started but we went on a virtual trip to South America with Sarita through Google Street View- first to my parents house in Buenos Aires, which I couldn't quiet find and Sarita surprised me again with her navigator talents, she was able to find the square that is near and get there, recognizing the bakeries, the ice cream parlors and all places we would go when visiting the family. Then we went to Trancoso and got to go everywhere, she wanted to go to this place, which was the part of the river where all kids would go to dive and swim and have fun when she was little. With this once more time I pointed out to how grateful she should be for a wonderful start of life, her toddler years were spent in this awesome place, small village life during the year apart from Summer which tourism would flood the area and one should be a bit more careful, as it is a high class holiday destination of many Brazilians,Europeans and Argentine. This river is now so polluted that they took away the bridge and covered the bit where the kids would dive with a flower bed.....sometimes progress isn't that much of a good thing, anyway, I am always grateful for the time we spent there. TFL!!!!
