amazing book list!!!!! love the way you composed the page, the dill is amazing and all the textures mixture and the feeling is this could be a book advert!!!! super inviting!!! I havent been able to read much lately, my memory isn;'t coping well, but have a shortlist I would love to get started with.... I ll look some of these up!!!!!

@MrsPeel The first five novels were last year's "Canada Reads" picks. The CBC (like BBC, but for Canada) has a show where 5 celebrities defend 5 novels, and one is declared the winner. The Illegal won last year, but I am most excited for Birdie because the author was one of my profs in law school! The other books so far are all middle grade novels that I am reading for "book club" with my kids. Which might be easier on your memory.
