What a lovely story and layout. I totally understand that you treasure things that you rarely use but love. I'm the same way. And, like you, my daughters aren't interested in any of them. I liked this challenge as it gave me an idea for preserving the memories in words and pictures so that even if they choose not to keep them, they will have the history. I'm even thinking of doing a small album like that as it's coming time to divest myself of some of my possessions. Thanks for sharing your story.
These cabinets were such a staple when I was little. But, so were TV sets that were also big pieces of furniture. Lol. It's wonderful that you have your mom's cabinet. I'm sure it was a piece that meant so much to her. Thank you so much for joining the storytelling challenge!
