Brisket

This looks SO delicious and I haven't even had breakfast yet. I could tear into that brisket right now. I'll bet it fell apart it was so tender. Love your layout, Christa.

@Cherylndesigns Thank you Cheryl.. yup it absolutely did fall apart.. it was yummy.. I had to buy the whole brisket so we cut it in half and put the other half in the freezer so we will be cooking another brisket probably the end of the month Yum LOL

@cfile I can just taste it right now. I'm not a big steak eater, but I love really tender cuts like this and a big juicy roast cooked low and slow all day. That's smart to cut it in half, freeze it, and fix the other half another time. We do that quite often, too.

@Cherylndesigns we don't eat a lot of beef here either so we really enjoy when we do

@cfile We're the same way, Christa. But when we do eat it, we really enjoy it. DH could eat beef 3 times a day. LOL He's a real meat lover, but we don't eat it very often anymore, either.

What a delicious layout, Christa! You know I love "foodie" photos and pages made with them. This is a great example. We love brisket too. I have found that occasionally Aldi's has some called salt & pepper briskets and when they do, I buy several and put some in the freezer. I have a wonderful recipe for the crockpot that cooks all day and leaves me with plenty of left-overs. Yum.

@flowersgal thanks Patsy.. I too love foodie pages!! Yum on the brisket!! Glad you like it too.. we made it in the crock pot once.. hubby likes to slow cook in oven so that is his thing.. I do the salads he does the meats!! Lol ! Thanks again for your sweet comment!! Ps we ate 4 meals on that 5 pound brisket!!
