*the journal is a poem I wrote this morning....I've been having the urge to write and tried this past weekend but the words wouldn't come*

she is there I can feel her wanting to whisper or scream at me
but her voice is unclear
full of emotion so deep it renders her silent
it is in those moments no matter how
hard I try to quiet my mind
I cannot write
unable to breathe life into my pen
so I sit - restless like a child
waiting for the muse
waiting for her voice
in those moments I have no choice
so I sit - waiting patiently
for the muse to speak
...and then I write --
