Description:
Story behind this layout: My daughter's best friend Kylie has been her best friend since preschool. Sadly Kylie has not had the most easy life. In the past two years alone Kylie has been moved from 10 different foster homes. This past month Kylie was moved to another home across the state. Bianca has been heart broken and crushed. This past weekend I surprised BOTH girls by planning a visit with Kylie's new foster parents. I picked up Kylie for the weekend so the girls could spend quality time together. It was a heart breaking reunion of two life long friends.

      the average amount of placements for ONE kid in foster homes is 18 in rural america and 25 in the cities. This is a horrific thing for kids. (as a mom to 7 from foster care). The trust issue is so huge and fear. I am scream GO KARI for being you and having so much love to help this young girl see there are some constants in her life...years down the line, this will be such a huge factor in her decisions. SOMEone was always there. thank you..oh crap, now I am crying, and your page is fantastic...as usual..woman you made my day, week, month

      @AnneofAlamo I have always been there for Kylie since day one..I know her history and her story. She has 2 siblings she never sees. One was adopted at birth and doesn't even know she exists. Kylie Is a sweet girl ...but due to the system has trust and behavior issues. Love her to death though and would take her in a heart beat if I could...told her she always can count on Mama Kari to be there day or night for anything. As all my kids friends know..and trust me..I will be watching and keeping contract with her I'm a mama bear like that..

      Kylie's story just breaks my heart. How wonderful that you and are your daughter are such a constant in her life, and a safe place! this is a gorgeous page for two gorgeous girls who will be lifelong friends.
