Such a great story and layout! It is awesome that you are still so connected after all of those years! He sounds like a great friend!! My nephew (Caleb Grill) is on the basketball team at Mizzou - he broke his wrist back in December in the game against WSU so he hasn't been able to play since then. My family and I had planned on going to a couple of games in Columbia in December and January but didn't since he was injured. When he is able to play again, I am excited to go to Mizzou and check it out because I have never been there before!
@Janelle12 I hope you love it! Mizzou is one of my favorite places on earth! Your nephew will for sure know all the great food spots, but just in case you want some recommendations: Addison's Nacho's Bianco are a MUST! I like the chicken ones, and my husband gets the sausage. Both are great! The 3 best places to get ranch dressing are Flat Branch (I get the Garlic Five Cheese Pizza to dip in it), Heidelberg, and Wise Guys Pizza. Shakespeare's Pizza is the most iconic restaurant there and it's delicious! There are likely new places the student's love these days, but the places I just mentioned are still strongholds worth your time!
Also, sorry to hear about your nephew's injury. I hope he heals up quickly! It'd be awesome to see him in the tournament in March!
