For August's Formula Challenge - 1 paper, 1 element, 1 alpha, 1 font, 1 picture, 1 colour.
I didn't have a specific idea in mind when I started, and because the page was going to be pretty minimal as far as elements etc., I decided to focus on the journaling, which is something I tend to keep really basic and not at all personal. I think I understand now what 'scrap therapy' means. TFL!

Beautifully spoken - straight from the heart. The black is the perfect colour and the photo you've chosen adds to the whole feeling. I can totally relate - we struggled for years and years and years.Hugs and I hope that you will someday find your family, they come in all colours, shapes, and sizes.
Oh wow! This is so amazing! I love that photo to speak with your journaling! I so wish I could give you a big ole hug right now. Just remember God has a plan even if we don't understand it! He has big plans for you!
Absolutely one of the most powerful pages I've ever seen. I love that it's not a cutsie page because it's darkness echos the journaling. Huge kudos to you for putting it out there, sweetie and huge hugs to go along with it.
