BE MERRY BE BRIGHT

This is gorgeous! Love the rich colours and the photos are amazing. You have such a nice collection of ornaments. I like how you did the Merry Bright on the ornament shape with the circular stitching. Great page!

I'm going to second Heather and say this is gorgeous! I love how you blurred out the middle of the big photo so you could journal there; I don't really know how to do that and make it look nice like you have but I should learn because I love it! I'm also impressed you made this page out of one photo! You've highlighted the details perfectly. Beautifully done.

@umyesh Thank you for your lovely comments! As to the large blended photo....... I created a mask just for the top half of the page. I drew a rectangle to fit the top half of the page, and filled it with black, then used a watercolour type brush to blur the hard edge at the bottom. Then I clipped the main photo to it........I used two of Nicole's papers from the collection underneath the mask and played around with the blend modes until I found a colour that blended in with the timber colour in the photo. and I used two photos for this page, just taking out the bits I wanted.
