I made the tittle.
We were in Barcelona for my birthday as three of my life time friends would be there. One of them, Monica, has a cousin who owns a tattoo parlour, taking that is considerably cheaper (like a quarter of the price of London) Sarita went to have her third done. I was so pleased with her choice, she asked me to write in my own hand writing "Vai com Deus" which means Go with God, which is what I tell her every time she leaves the house- The page with the photo of the actual tattoo coming Friday Now she has God in her skin, I m praying that she realizes she needs to bring Him back into her heart... TFL!!!!
she's smiling?! i'm wincing just thinking about it! love the way you've used the papers and elements in this kit so cleverly to make that coral colour the star! the title with the date slider is a very cool touch too!
Justine, thanks so much, yes, she is smiling (only got making faces towards the very end) she had tattoed "Vai com Deus" which means "Go with God" which is what I tell her every time she lives the house, and she made a point that should be in my own handwriting. Her first tattoo was a success formula my dad used to hammer in my head when I was a teenager and further, and I did to Sarita, do to this day... "Capacidad, Voluntad, Suerte" which means something like Capacity: the learning of the skills, the qualifying for what you want to do, Voluntad: will power, wanting to do something, work hard 90%, make it happen- I m not sure how to properly translate Voluntad, but if you think of the word Volunteers...maybe there is su ch a word. Last bit is Suerte = Luck- My dad always used to say we need at least a tiny drop of luck for things to happen...especially in the trade Sarita and myself chose...in Performing Arts, sometimes you can be the best, have worked 90% sweat and do everything right...and you still don't get it... anyway she had that tattoed in the side of her ribs....after that? the back of your neck is easy peasy LOL This one is little and didn't take long, I am making another page where you will be able to see it, and in the end she was making some faces too LOL hugggzz @bellbird
Great photo of the tattooing in action and I love the blues and corals used to accent the photo. Great choice of colour and of course everything is perfectly in place!
