I admire you my darling blue eyed boy, I truly do. It can’t be easy to be you. You live in a world where your clothes feel like fiberglass and the smallest of tags feels like needles poking your skin over and over again. I can barely imagine having so many thoughts and things I wanted to say but not having the words to express them. It must be so extremely hard for you not to understand other’s emotions and how they feel. I could not imagine looking at your sister’s faces and not knowing they are happy; or seeing tears fall from their faces and not knowing they are sad. It must be so hard to seek deep pressure so badly that you will lay on your bed with 10 or more blankets piled upon you. I can only imagine how you feel when people call you “dumb” or “retarded” because you are not just like them. To become overwhelmed in a world that is constantly spinning and just much too loud. You truly are my hero. Showing me how to overcome the obstacles God places in our way. And while the world may not see you in the way we do, I am so extremely proud of you my Kman. You have the potential to be the best that you can be. Keep reaching for the stars my blue eyed boy, for one day they will be in your grasp.
