Wow. This is such a powerful layout. A somber reminder that as memory keepers we pass down the bitter lessons of the past as well as the joyous. Well done!

Thank you @bonnenuit and @AnneofAlamo - I knew as soon as I saw the challenge that I had to scrap this picture. It was such a moving, haunting experience to visit this place and I hoped to capture it with this layout.

this touches me beyond words.... my daughter went inter railing in Europe and I have so many photos, for over a year been thinking what to do and no idea...you have just inspired what I think I know now will be the book I will make for her. amazing page with the heavy feeling that events like this should have.... it pains me that the human race keeps not learning..... thanks so much for playing with us!!!!!!!!!

@MrsPeel thank you! Without your challenge, this picture would have been sitting in the box with the rest of my Europe pictures, collecting dust. It pushed the boundaries of how I normally scrap so I appreciate you pushing us outside our comfort zone! I think I'll finally start a Europe book too

ohh you most definitely should!!!!!!!!! and this you are telling me fills my heart with joy... I think our main reason with challenges is to inspire, and if a thing like this, the growing on to something you can be doing and it helps with stuff you wanted to do but didnt happen yet...that is priceless. I hope you can share at least some of those pages when you start making them!!!!!!!
