journaling:
Athens, the capital of Greece, and one of the world's oldest cities. So much to say about my city, that I don't know where to start. Even though I live in a suburb and not downtown, the center of Athens is one of my favorite places. It's so many things together: both old and new, dirty and beautiful, chaotic and peaceful. Before Covid, I'd take the metro and go downtown just for a walk or shopping. Now I can't do it, because I don't want to use the metro, and I really miss it. When this nightmare is over, I want to go back to the Acropolis: last time I went there, I didn't even took any photos, I thought I could go back anytime! I guess I love the center of Athens because my dad did too, and it somehow reminds me of him.
