i love that you love these - i am always conflicted when there's foreground or midground stuff or just the vibe that i love, and then i look at the sky and think 'man, you are letting the team down' and go into overthing mode and start thinking i need to 'sky swap' before scrapping or do i just scrap the flat sky b/cos it's real and how it was (which usually wins b/cos it's easier) - i blow out the sky on purpose if i don't have an ND filter anyway but then still regret it or go into overthinking when i look back at the images later, i think i like your grey skies better than my overblown white ones!
Reminds me of gray days here! To Justine's point, I'd never scrap if I worried about the sky here in Oregon! LOL And I love what Stefanie said that it feels super retro, but it's only from 2012, and that's just a couple of years ago right...right?!?! Ack 13 years ago!!!!
