Nicely documented with a peek at your current perspective. I, too, have been home since March 15 with only stepping out to our mailbox or our deck for some sun. Several days again my husband pried me out of my chair and said I'm taking you for a drive to see some blooming spring trees in the neighborhood and drive across the river to get some gas. It was a nice and safe outing. Glad I saw many tulip trees since their blooming time is so short.
@flowersgal Then you know where I'm coming from, Patsy. I have no problem with going out in our cars. I just haven't had any reason to do that. I'll make up for this when the time is right. DH is going to the drive-through bank tomorrow to get some cash - he hasn't been out, either.
@Scrapping with Liz Liz, our daughter and grandson live with us and she appointed herself the person who goes out, due to her age. I reluctantly (at first) agree to that. I finally convinced her to wear protection over her face.
I have been out to do groceries twice, dog food once and to do drive up to Target to help with food items 3 times. I never knew how much food my family goes when they are home ALL DAY LONG.
@Dalis Dalis, we've had an additional blessing - we decided to try ordering our groceries online and see how that worked. We were assigned a personal shopper, who kept in touch with my DH all day (in case there were any substitutions she needed to make). When she delivered our groceries right to our house, we found out that she lives right around the corner from us! She was SO sweet and told us that if we needed ANYTHING to call her and she'd bring it/them home to us! She works for the grocery store. We actually called her today and she just dropped off our items. Isn't life interesting? It's absolutely a blessing! She said even if we just needed two or three things to let her know. I'm keeping a list of "blessings" and she's at the top!
