So the tornadoes that ripped through Indiana earlier this year - one of them hit about 1/4 of a mile from my parents' home (which I sold about a year ago). So I felt really connected to the people there and the damages they suffered. My folks' 15-home neighborhood is, literally, surrounded by mega warehouses. When they built there in 1956, it was all cornfields and Indiana bog land. Now the property is 1/4 mile from Interstate Highway 65 and one can see an Amazon Distribution Center from their front porch! I felt the need to document.

The photos of tornado damage are always heart-wrenching; I’m sorry this one hit so close to home. I like how you used the big date and pops of color to draw some attention to the smaller photos.
I like the way you did the frames on the small photos. It gives a sense of being ripped apart.
I've got photos like that as well. My town was also hit by a tornado on April 1 but luckily it was south of town and the major damage was to commercial facilities. It did hit a truck stop and a campground on the southeast edge of town. The campground had 7 people injured but thankfully no fatalities.
The photo2 really capture the devastation of a tornado. The ripped paper frame adds a lot of dimension and the photo of the tornado itself is chilling. Great job documenting this!
