That must've been hard, but also rewarding, to know they were going to people Jim loved. Bittersweet is the perfect word and you found the perfect kit.
So hard, but such a meaningful way to fulfill his wishes and for them to have something of his too. I love your page and how it honors the bittersweet memory and shows the moment in a way that feels very vintage and historic. Beautiful!

Yes, Frank is a son-in-law, Anna, Sidney & Nathan are grandchildren and Carl is the husband of a cousin. Anna also got lots of his sweaters (surprisingly) and is wearing one in this photo.

oh this is beautiful, Patsy, and so glad you did what Jim asked, but passed on his rings for others to enjoy and remember him by. I did that with my Dad's rings... my bother and nephew have all of Dad's jewelry except my parents wedding rings which I still have. It is lovely to pass on those treasures to family for sure. Beautifully scrapped and documented, Patsy! TFS!
This is so special! I love the colors and the stamping/paper you used! I have my grandmothers ring, she gifted it to me before she passed and it's so precious!
