The routine
1. Rise @ 0300 and dress in Sunday best.
2. Gunfire breakfast of Anzac biscuits and rum coffee.
3. Dawn Service with family and friends. We always have a group family photo taken and shots of the kids.
4. Breakfast. Sausage sizzle and beers.
5. City parade with Pete and I marching. There's no feeling like your kids shouting at you from the crowd.
6. Lunch and drinks. Usually at the Port Office Hotel.
7. Catch up with old friends and more drinks. Johnny Ringo's. The Victory... wherever we end up.
8. Home to bed. It's usually about 9pm. A 19 hr day. Phew!
