- I had to document this! We RARELY fly because I dislike it so much! Ironically, we had purchased 2 round trip airline tickets a few months ago. We were going to fly my sister down for a week's visit at the end of March and my GD Ava and I were going on a "girls' weekend to Oklahoma, the second week in April. Obviously, these flights could not be used. Ava and I got a "credit" for our American Airlines flight, but we're still arguing with Spirit Airlines over the refund/credit for my sister's flight. It you have to cancel a flight DO NOT say it's because of the Corona Virus! We had insurance on my sister's flight and they aren't refunding money because of the virus. You have to lie and make up some other excuse. So, we told them she got sick. You wouldn't believe all of the hoops they're going to make us jump through. They even want access to my sister's medical records. What a rip off!!
