This is a picture I took of my mom and dad in 2008. They're both gone now. I really struggle with these photo masks, but wanted to use one with this picture.

@mcurtt Thanks so much!! Like I said, I really struggle with these masks. I love them so much, though, that I want to master them. Glad you like it. Yes, they always held hands. It was so sweet.
Cheryl, I thought as I'm up early, I come stop at your gallery a bit more ... this is a jewel, it doesn;t really look like you struggle which is a great sign!! You know I only discovered how to use masks about 15 months ago (scrapping since 2006 or 7!!!) and LOVE the possibilities they bring! love the way you used it here, love those stitches, Mirjam's Stunning Stitches are of my most favorite elements to use!!! and the photo is a jewel.... love them holding hands, and the autumnal scenery brings even more nostalgia to the page, you have chosen a perfect background paper to use here, super gorgeous and full of love page...I most certainly can feel it we lost my Dad in February, and this brings so much to my heart.... I don;t think I will ever stop missing him hugely, but I know we will be reunited one day
@MrsPeel You just make me feel so good with your wonderful comments. Mom, Dad and I went to a local park to see the leaves, in 2008. I took so many pictures of them but this is one of my favorites. They were so engrossed in the trees (and each other) that they didn't even realize I was taking so many pictures of them. They said, "Well, when did you take these?" I told them that I was sneaky. LOL
We just lost Mom a year ago January and Dad went a couple of years before her. I know what you mean about missing them. Mom had Alzheimers and was really not in great shape even when I took these.
Thanks for your comments about the masking. I guess I pulled this one off.
