The road from Porto Seguro Airport to Trancoso.a new road built for the 500 years of Brazil (as it was discovered in 1500 right there) on 1999 (celebrations were in 2000( to avoid the heavy traffic of the barge, added at least 20 minutes to the journey, but many people prefer it, especially if not residents, because this one has tarmac, the old road is dirt road, I preferred ir actually, but either way, the scene is spectacular, and very curvy,it taught me careful driving. I have made pages with one of the scariest oarts of it, a hill up and down that rivals any rollercoaster....The whole trip is a bit over than an hour in the new road, 40 minutes tops in the old one
