ADHD Adventure

((hugs)) I know this topic all too well. My son is extreme ADHD and I know exactly the feeling of your child hating you.

"Hours on end-- or is it just minutes?"  I can totally relate.  Major kudos to you for sharing such an intensely intimate subject.  The thing I think is most interesting about your beautiful page is that the layout is so intense, sad and scary but the images are so happy and peaceful.  What a powerful contrast and (I would imagine) glimpse into your everyday life!  I wish I could hug you during those hour-long minutes.  Hang in there and thanks for sharing.

The page is beautifully put together, and an admirable treatment of a difficult topic. I can't count the number of times I wailed to my husband in private, "What is WRONG? Is she broken? Will it ever get better?"
It has.
And she's not ADHD-- she just had what I like to think of as PAA: Premature Adolescent Attitude.

Such a powerful page, words can not tell you the empathy I feel  for you just looking at it. You conveyed your pain with such a delicate touch. I hope it does get better in the future. 

I think the things that impact on us most come from watching our children go through experiences that we can't fix.&nbsp; Thank you for sharing your powerful piece - and here's hoping you all make it through to the other side.&nbsp; <big hug>

Hugs!! Since last summer we finally got the answer to what was going on mwith my 5yo DD. She has ADHD and we are still rounding things up as she steel has a few other issues. They never hate you but it is sure hard to swallow it all at times. We are strong when we defend and stand by our child who are different from sociaty norms. Awesome page!!!
