@cfile - here is that bear I was telling you about. It was zoom lens distance aware here but the footprints across the hiking trail were fresh.

Thank you for sharing and pointing it out to me. When we went to TN all i wanted was to see a bear and we did not see one. My brother lives in Roanoke in the mountains and has them roam through his backyard! Once he was face to face with it as the bear got the bird feeder that was attached to the window. My brother heard noise went to the kitchen and he was staring at the bear! The bear left but a little scary!! Great page!

@cfile I'd be scared if a bear was that close to my window. I love that I got this photo but do not want one any closer up. If I want to be close to bears, the ones at our local zoo will be close - but busy! - during the zookeeper talk/snack time. Lewis & Clark are super spoiled and get all kinds of fresh produce so that visitors can see them.
