I can very much relate, our Mum (MIL for me) is in a different country and it's very worrying at times

I moved closer to my mom, just to be able to help out more. I’m so happy I did and that we could get some quality time together before she passed.

@Annsofie My husband and I want to look back someday at all the memories we were able to create together. Had to shift priorities but in the end, it was the right thing to do. We feel fortunate to be close as I know many can't.

@zinzilah I understand. Sometimes it's not possible to move closer but I'm sure you do what you can.
