Beautiful page and masking work!

Gorgeous layout and I love the true saying. I'm not sure what techniques you used here but you sure nailed it.

I fiddled with the photo...filters/blend modes, etc., but then just cliped it to the nbk urban mask. Framed it with rebecca's "mask," which I duplicated, then transformed to make the 2nd edge. Easy-peasy! Nothing fancy. But thank you (& Margje) for the kind words.
