Made this for the Focus Challenge | Childhood Memory
Journaling reads: some of the most beautiful memories I have are from my childhood summers. after my brother was born, we used to go up to the memories as he had some respiratory problems so doctors suggested the sea wasn't really very good idea.I have some vivid memories of those sumers, some I know are proper memories, others are helped by some of the photos my parents took, or, like in this case, the photos that were taken
at the events, or theme parks. We had goner to this, it was just a ride from the valley to the top of the mountain but it was so exciting to get up there on my own!!!! The photos would be done black & white and they painted the colors by hand, we had to wait until they dried to take them home!!!! There are lots of memories from the 60s that I treasure our summers in the mountains could fill entire books!!! maybe I could start by making the pages! TFL!!!!
Wow o WOW! That is an AMAZING photo! And so cool that they hand colored the photo. Definitely some awesome memories to be captured in your books. WAY TO SCRAP IT!
Oh my goodness! What a photo - I love the story you told, and especially the process that was involved in getting that photo the way it is. It is so beautiful ... and it's SO precious to see you so young Cynthia. Aww. I have to admit my heart is doing flips in my belly - I can't believe how brave you were at that age to do that by yourself. I"m not sure I could do it even now without someone to hold onto. Love the way you scrapped this photo with the vintage colors. Absolute beautiful page!
