6 Months

Yesterday,you turned six months old. Half a year has passed from the day you were born. I\'ll be honest, it's been a really tough adjustment. We\'ve both come a long way and your big sissy has too. You\'ve gone from this little stranger who couldn\'t even hold his own head up, to my best little pal who is on the verge of crawling around the house. You take it ALL in and I love watching you discover things. You love Bianca (more than Daddy and me maybe)! You smile with your whole body when you see her and even squeal with joy when she is in the room. Oh the adventures the two of you will have. In addition to looking back over the past half a year, I can\'t help but look ahead to the next half and the years beyond. You have a lot of firsts to come. Your first football season, Halloween, Thanksgiving and my sweet precious Kman, we\'ve talked a little about it, but you really are going to LOVE Christmas! I\'m already starting to plan your first birthday in my head, because making it through a year of firsts is worthy of celebrating for all of us! Mostly I just wanted to take this moment to tell you, no matter how much I complain, or how tired I am, YOU are one of the best things I\'ve ever made. You fill my heart with more joy than I could ever put into words. Even though I might get grumpy about not being able to ever sleep in, the quiet moments we have in the mornings are something I will hold in my heart for the rest of my life.
