4x8 traveler notebook Everyday Insp Day 2 and 3

oh my goodness Jenn.. so beautiful and heartfelt. I am so glad you are scrapping this in a traveling notebook. It gives you an outlet, and wow, beautifully done. I am glad Keegan is doing what he feels he is destined to do. This is how you know it is right for him. Re yourself, it is hard and he knows and understands You have every right to be "that Mom" and even more so when he graduates from Boot Camp you will be in the stands shouting the loudest at how proud you are. @jenn mccabe , I am right there with you. I am academic with 3 degrees, my husband the same. So our vision of the future for all our children was college then a job. Then dance happened! My son, of all people, just fell in love with it and feels a strong calling to Christian ballet. I never in my wildest daydreams ever imagined this path, yet here we are and he is off half a nation away going to school to better train for dance. AND if for some reason that doesn't pan out, he wants to be a police officer or enlist in the Marines. (Both my husband and I served as officers in the Navy, so enlisting was NOT in our visions for them.)
So your layout really speaks to me. Your journaling so beautifully captures the tension between the dreams we had and the reality, but this new reality will be just as beautiful (and probably moreso) than that we imagined for them. Love the soft colors and the seriousness of the photo. Just AMAZING!

I am loving all the touches here, the word art over the heart, the line with the flower delicately hovering on it, the hearts everywhere seemingly (on purpose or not) signifying your heart everywhere all over your sleeve (Travelers Notebook) so filled with pride yet close to bursting with the other emotions.
