JOURNALING: We had to miss the local fireworks display (on July 3 this year) because of a soccer game also on the 3rd. So, we decided to celebrate the 4th of July with “patriotic” food. Bob Evans was promoting their red, white, and blue breakfasts – French toast (hey, the French helped us win our independence) with red strawberries, blue berries, and white bananas and whipped cream. Yummy!! We also had a double chocolate cake with patriotic decorations from Nothing Bundt Cakes! (Apparently we also were celebrating “independence” from dieting day!) (In the corner of this layout is a “coloring book” page I did on my phone using the app - “Zen Color - Color By Number”.)

Nice use of the template. I like the fireworks and the balloon title. LOVE that light blue paper with the dots for your background. Food looks yummy! Clever idea to use the corner tag to display one of your "Zen Color" pages, too.
