38 things i know at 38

not technically 38 just yet. i'm just getting a jump on my turning 38 page and it's the busiest page i think i've ever done. LOL

that i am extremely and undeservedly blessed
that being a child of the King is where its at
that i have gifts worth sharing
that sometimes (most times) mama really does know best
that there is no substitute for the real thing
to follow my dreams
to not settle
to believe in the best in people
that sometimes family isnt blood related
that its okay if the house is a mess
to cherish every minute with our kiddos
that family can and probably will break your heart
that single moms are amazing
that my husband is the kind of father to our children that i wish i had had
that my 30s have been the best decade of my life
that memories and old hurts fade with time
that my kids are the most beautiful gifts ive ever received
that my husband is the true love of my life
that i dont know it all
that i cant tell a joke but im still pretty funny
that cleaning bathrooms bites
that the older i get the hotter Texas summers get
that having one true friend you can depend on is worth its weight in gold
that the Bible is still relevant today
that love does indeed conquer all
that music soothes my soul
that its okay to dislike my body but still accept it
to stop and breathe when the world closes in
to create what i love for me and no one else
that practice does makes perfect
