The last time –
We were together before PTSD and concussive brain syndrome changed our lives forever. A treasured time and joyful memories.
Aunt Pat, you weren’t just my favorite relative of all - and we have MANY! - you were also my role model, the voice of reason and wisdom in my sometimes painful and chaotic world, and my sanctuary when I needed a place of safety and solitude. I miss you. But when I start feeling down or feeling sorry for myself, I pull up the pictures I have of you over the years and remember the fun we had antiquing in London or at a doll or craft show where we set up our booths side by side, or best of all, when we played with your dolls. I always loved my dolls but playing with yours I fell in love with dolls all over again. Can’t wait to see your playhouse in Heaven!
