Sometimes I tend to forget how far reaching this community is. I had never envisioned a day when I would see anything close to resembling this happen in my country. You have made some sacrifices to be sure, and I have no doubt that those have had impacts in your life as it is today. Your journaling is quite powerful.
Great journaling about the troubles in your homeland and in the world at large. How I hate to see families torn apart by their differing stances on what is happening in their country. You have documented it well and I like that you included a variety of photos.
This is powerful, thank you for sharing. I know many people who just want to ignore what is happening at high levels of government, thinking it doesn't effect them - but your story shows how it does. It effects everyone, it's just a matter of how and when. It's hard to see things in my homeland inching closer to what you have experienced in yours - I have hope we will be be able to correct course.
