Love your take on this challenge. The journaling is too funny! This is very creatively done, especially the extraction of the bottles and your title work. Love!
OMG girl , this is so hilarious, amazingly well written, funny, with lots of great info so your great grand children will know how amazing you are !!!!!! this is a treasure of a page, your journaling is great, love the vertical title and you fonts.... how amazing that you are making the effort to create the products...when we lived in Brazil, it was a small fisherman's village and we had a garden you could eat from...so I did a lot of my own creation for shampoos , scrubs and all klind of masks and body lotions...right now my health doesn't allow for much so I buy, but is the best thing you can do!!!!!! Thanks so much for playing with us!!!!!
@MrsPeel thank you!
Sadly my shampoo isn't working out so well with its after affects. This will be on my scrapbook for sure. Along with the follow up page! Hubs keeps asking why I am spending 30$ a week on supplies and not buying a 5$ bottle of shampoo! It's quite comical over here. Personally, I would love to know where to get good shampoo for $5! Hahahah
This idea of the walls talking might need to be a theme in my books. I always write my pages saying 'we' but I write them as if a third person in the event. Maybe the walls should be that person.
oh this makes me happy to read... I know most of my scrapping was done in a way that was easy to tell the story...my daughter's first 8 years of life which I scrapped and printed, are told in her voice, her talking about stuff in most pages, apart from one double pager in which I explain what happened to her dad when she was 5...which is a letter from me to her..... but when I found the wall thing, an inanimate object talking...I found that many things that would be difficult to either make fun or get deep into say9ng was a 100 times easier if some non human thing said it.... so I am glad that this challenge accomplished a good thing for you <3
Loving your gallery , I ll try make time to stop in more pages.
As for the cheap good shampoo....
I nm not sure what is outside the UK, but here we have a few whole foods stores who sell good not so full of chemical stuff for around £5 or £6
I started using something that could fit into my budget as I am disabled, not much income...so I just have to go for what is cheap, but my daughter found some stores in which she can check weekly offers, and I trained her not to wash her hair more than once a week...I used to be a beautician and know washing anything too often takes away your natural defenses.... plus we now live in a country that is cold enough LOL (in Brasil we need at least 2 showers a day!!!)
anyway, looking forward to your follow up pages!!!!!!!!!!!
