Beautiful photo capture of the snow.. you all got a lot. We have nothing.. we were supposed to get almost a foot, but ended up getting 2-3 inches, and it disappeared quickly... was all gone by Tuesday, but oh my, these temps are brrrrr... we too had -3 wind chill and the wind, oh my.. the gusts are still huge!.. Glad you braved the outdoors and got this gorgeous Winter / Snow photo, Michele. The beautiful sunshine with blue skies peeking through the trees with that amazing reflective shadow, wow. I really like how you used the template to showcase the photo continuing the photo with the icy/winter/blue background and that warm figure of a person on the side as if walking to match the journaling. Beautifully done! TFS and playing along with the February Template Challenge!
Thanks Christa @cfile Yes, school districts around me canceled school for a week and 2 days, and then for the last three days of last week we went in 2 hours late each morning. I don't remember ever being tired of snow on the ground and wanting it go away. Usually I wish it would last longer. The worst is the narrow opening at the bottom of our driveway. I guess I could go hack away at it to make it wider, but this is thick hard ice, and it's piled high on both sides of my driveway.
We got a little more snow Friday afternoon, and this weekend we've been having wind gusts too.
