Love how you down-sized the included September element and used it to mark the date. What a great series of photos and your choice to use more illustrated/painterly items really makes your page stand out from some of the others that used this template! Kudos!

Happy Birthday to Alyssa! It really is hard when everyone moves away. So glad though you will all be together in November and will celebrate then! I love the color scheme you chose to compliment the pictures of Alyssa. The big blue flower cluster with Birthday message is perfectly placed! Well done! I know it can be. I've had a lot of practice (20 years!) Tee hee! I think the most important thing is to be sincere, authentic. Just say what you like.
