I got a catalog in the mail from Breck’s a seller of bulbs. It was almost Justine’s BD and I thought it would be fun to send her an Amaryllis bulb... I thought the boys would get a kick out of watching it grow... upon ordering there was some offer, that made me decide to get one for my neighbor Teana also...Her’s and Justine's were the same, mine was different. With Justine living in Anchorage... her bulb was so slow getting started that we thought it was defective.... she even bought a light for it...

But eventually it showed some life... and was just about ready to bloom some 2 months later and into January... They were going to be gone when it finally opened... I am not seeing any photos of it here showing it open, but Teana did a beautiful job of documenting hers and they were the same...
