- At 5:42 on September 20, 2024, I received a message on Match, from a man I had never seen before... It has become the beginning of an unexpected Whirlwind romance. On September 30, I drove 5 1/2 hours to his upscale vacation rental in the little vacation town of Shelter Cove, CA.
There were a few unexpected issues, neither of us expected, that impacted our first meeting. We continued a sporadic conversation for the next 2 weeks... During this time he framed one of his beautiful photos that I had admired and sent it to me!!! Then he invited me to a dance in Eureka, CA, also on the coast. These photos were taken last weekend October 26-27... Fingers crossed, I think we are both quite smitten!!!
