Journaling reads: December 11, 2023 - I went shopping at Farm & Fleet by myself, feeling a bit depressed and lonely. I picked up a few Christmas items, window clings, candy, paper plates and napkins. I was ready to get in line at the checkout, and on the overhead, I heard them playing “Something in the Way She Moves”, the 1970 version done by Matthews’ Southern Comfort, the same version that John had arranged to be sung to me at our wedding. What are the chances? All I heard up until that point were the typical Christmas tunes. The switch to this song caused me to stop. It brought tears to my eyes, I almost didn’t make it through the checkout. It was John, I know it was John giving me a sign, 4 years and 1 day from the date of this photo.
